Shona Louise first launched in 2011, back then it was just space for my thoughts, but over the past 10 years it has evolved into a hub for my passions and work.
I’m a writer, photographer, access consultant, small business owner, theatre enthusiast and more.
With by-lines in Metro, The Independent, DigitalSpy and more, I regularly write about disability rights and accessibility across the media. I feature in Rife: Twenty-One Stories From Britain’s Youth, a book made up of young people’s stories and experiences, with my essay centering on growing up as a young disabled adult. You can find examples of my work here.
I’m also a portrait, theatre and live events photographer over at Shona Louise Photography. I have a passion for watching and capturing theatre, alongside working in the theatre industry as an access consultant to improve access for disabled people.
You can also find me crocheting away in the evenings for my small business, Callisto Creations, where I make crocheted keyrings and more.
